Write what you want and why you want it

Michael Potter from the Warrior Forum mentions a nugget of advice from an audio program from Brian Tracy.

"The one biggest most useful tip is about how writing down your goals and your reasons for wanting these goals and constantly updating this list helps your subconscious work on ways of achieving your goals."


Well that's a good one right there, writing down not only the things you want - but why you want them. Many self help programs put all the emphasis on concerning yourself with what you want and nothing else.

I think it's very common for people, including myself, to want things but have no clear idea of why they want them.

Knowing why we want things might help inject the needed and relevant motivation into the things that we desire.
