Studies show vegetarians have better sex? Watch "Veggie Love"...
Oh wait.. This is a commercial for PETA.. And those ladies aren't vegetarians, they're paid models. And that makes sense because vegetarian chicks just don't normally look like that.
Ok, maybe those girls are really vegetarians. I guess that if you don't eat meat, then you're a vegetarian, and if these models are like models, then they don't eat much of anything (including meat). So going with that kind of reasoning, I guess these girls are vegetarians..
Kidding aside. The ad ends with the message, "Studies show vegetarians have better sex."
Ok, what's that supposed to mean? How can a metric be established or research conducted that would allow us to determine whether one group has better sex than another?
"Better sex" seems kind of subjective. And the slogan could just as well be applied to anythi
Thing is, none of these types of statements mean anything. Claims like these don't yield themselves to being easily validated.
Just another bit of propaganda to make people stop eating meat. Also, I'm a bit put off when companies or organizations use scantily clad women to try to get me to do things like:
And I'm not inclined to believe in scientistic factoids such as what PETA is putting out with their sexy veggies ads. Perhaps they conducted their research by means of a subjectively administered multiple choice survey not unlike the types of tests found on Cosmopolitan magazine. Who knows?
Now that I think about it, I've just completed my own retrospective study. And I've found that how good a woman is in the sack has little to nothing to do with whether she's an omnivore or a herbivore.
