adwords editor error 2739 - how to fix it

If you've tried to install Adwords Editor on Windows Vista, you may have encountered the error 2739. I don't know what causes the error, but I do know how to fix it.

1. Open up a command prompt by going to the Start Menu, then to 'All Programs', then to 'Accessories', then click on 'Command Prompt'
2. At the command prompt, do the following:
   
   • Type the following command and then press the 'Enter' key on your keyboard
     
     • cd ..\..\Windows\System32
   • Keep the command prompt window open and then type the following command and then press the 'Enter' key on your keyboard. You'll get an error, but don't worry about it - It's OK.
     
     • regsvr32 vbscript.dll
   • Now, type one last command into the command prompt window followed by pressing the 'Enter' key on your keyboard. You'll get another error, but just ignore it again, just as before:
     
     • regsvr32 jscript.dll
   • Close the Command Prompt Window
3. Now you will be able to install Adwords Editor without the 2739 error code. Go ahead and install Adwords Editor and best of luck with all of your campaigns!
